Can someone explain me what is good in that troll build? Why every noob in solo queue building like koreans and being useless for team?
0 dmg, only poke. Why people are so stupid to always play like pro players?

Few mins ago i just got flamed that im playing Irealia with s2 build and yesterday flamed for playing Skarner and they said he is usleless in s3.

This comunity is so retarded srsly...

I suggest reading entire article and you understand why this "troll build" is good on ezreal...

Just a few Things:
He does not calculate the importance of crit damage. In 2 auto attacks, regular Ezreal can deal over 1000 damage(after armor) if he gets 2 crits.
Also early on, the difference in Ultimate damage can have an impact as well, though blue will have lower CDs to compensate(Again, different playstyles).

In the end, Blue is great for poking and kiting and is always ready to fight(rarely runs out of mana and ult is almost always available), and fits a team comp that goes for such a strategy.
Regular AD Ezreal has more raw damage in general though.

I personally like the potential of Blue Ez though, as it somehow uses his kit more effectively IMO.

Edit: And with all that calculation, he still have no clue how sheen/etc Works(thinking that his 216 damage will be increased by the Spellblade proc...)

I recently started playing a lot of blue ezreal and its rather viable build.

The article on reignofgaming really is off in math in many points. You do have a lot less damage with blue ez. Ulti damage is actually somewhat similiar - you mostly lack crit and as as blue - ad/ap values and armor pen is about same - and you get the shorter CD.

Thing about "blue" ez build is - its not about making a hypercarry. Its about making a safe poking champion. Classic ez is generally weak in late game. Blue build doesnt change that - but instead of trying to fix this late game weakness it shifts his focus to great midgame potential, and team oriented abilities. He is not a dps machine, but he is a slowing monster, and he basically selfpeels.

Solo queue? How often you get lets say: nocturne jungle, rumble top zed mid and leona as support? Then teamfights happen, and they all aoe stomp their carries but you are left completely alone to fend off enemy lee and voli diving you? Here is where blue ez shines.

You use/pick him, when your comp will have a lot of damage (since you dont contribute much EDIT: well you do contribute a lot, but not AS MUCH as typical ad carry), and is good at offensive dives behind their front line (because you are self sufficient they can actuallyt 2-4 man dive them and leave you alone and you will survive and kite/peel for yourself - their dive will be way more effective if one or two of them wont have to stay back to peel from you).

You can also use him with poke comps, to help disengaging.

If your team is tanky and full of peelers and defensive CC, dont play blue ez - simple as that.

One other thing is - people often really commit too much to "blue" items. They are good , they have great synergy but they arent necessarily optimal.

Lets say you play 2v1 lane and they have physical comp. You shouldnt go with spirit of elder lizard (the dot actually is not efficient in many cases - it will draw turret aggro forcing you to back more often then you would wish - it also doesnt work on towers. You might wanna start gauntlet then or manamune.

And now if spirit is NOT your first item, then it becomes probably a bad pick. Its quality comes from great set of stats for STARTING char (the regen gets less valuable, the dot the same as the game progresses). Get black cleaver instead. More damage (due to extra armor pen overwhelming the dot), team debuff, more health and way more dmg in extended fights.

If their team is squishy, maybe consider switching botrk+ LW for IE+BT - you can kite their tank anyway, and it wont even take that much longer to kill him, and you will rip squishies way faster.

There are ways to improve on blue build depending on game at hand, but most people right now just blindly follow the same build (although to be fair - 80% of the cases it IS optimal).

One more thing about blue ez - the full build basically needs to be offensive items (it bases on the synergy of those - he drops way too low in dmg if you add another defensive item besides gauntlet), so while you are VERY slippery, if they can pin you down you drop really fast. You cant afford GA there to get up like normal AD ez , so while having same armor you lack the unique passive. Alternatively, while you have the armor, you dont have the HP randuin, warmoggs or frozen mallet gives you.

Blue ez generally works a lot weaker vs double or triple ap comps (counting junglers as amumu as 3rd ap), with lots of long range CC. He wont have any hp or magic res - something often easy to exploit.
